Position Title: Production Supervisor, Material Handling Location: Romulus, MI. Current operational hours are from 6:00 AM until 1:30 AM - * Must be able to work ALL shifts and Overtime as required.* Requirements: High School diploma required. 1+ years of previous supervision experience. Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM). Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred, willing to work rotating work hours when required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently. Have Continuous Improvement mind set. Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees. Proven dependability record and successful team-oriented experience. Shift Requirements: Must be able to work outside of traditional work hours. Some weekends might be required. Must have the ability to work overtime/adjust schedule as required, as the business dictates. Position Description: Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager. Responsible for supervising all operations: Inbound, outbound, and claims processing. Responsible for delivering objectives: Cover crews in supervisor's absence. Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings. Prepare/maintain work related records as needed. Schedule workforce (including overtime and vacation). Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best in class performance.
