The Role

Contender Solutions a Presidio company is seeking an experienced Account Executive to create and foster strong business relationships. The primary sales focus will be to build a sales pipeline for our ServiceNow solutions, license and implementation-related services. In this role you'll work closely with both ServiceNow and Presidio sellers to drive ServiceNow solutions to both commercial and enterprise accounts. You will assume some existing accounts, but you will also be responsible for expanding our portfolio within the defined territory to develop new relationships and close new business.

Travel Requirements:

Remote with local travel for client visits. A flexible work environment with a culture of Positivity, Entrepreneurial, Trust, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Lead generation strategies and execution for the Sales Area territory
  • Working closely with channel and vendor partners
  • Collaborating with delivery teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Exhibit customer and account control leveraging our sales playbook and MAP
  • Presenting and negotiating proposals (including RFPs/RFIs) leading to Statements of Work
  • Providing on-going account management to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities to assist them
  • Providing regular status and projections against sales activities


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



    • 5+ years of sales experience in IT solutions and/or services
    • 2+ years working in ServiceNow Services or Solutions
    • Experience managing an ongoing sales pipeline / book of business of approximately $1-5m+
    • Demonstrated ability to present and influence buyers (including C-level executives)
    • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
    • Ability to forecast current and future business
    • Align capabilities to business drivers within your customer/prospect's organizations
    • Service Management solutions
    • Prior "Value Selling" or similar framework training
    • Managed Services sales


    Required Skills and Professional Experience:



    • 3-5 years of sales in the technology industry, and experience working with technology partners and leveraging those relationships to drive joint sales opportunities.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with a focus on customer retention and new business development.
    • Strong operational skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts with a focus on efficiency, forecasting, and account health tracking.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field.
    • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a passion for building relationships and delivering customer success.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to customer challenges.
    • 3-5 years of sales experience in the technology industry.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
