Accounts Payable Analyst


Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities

Accounting Analyst


  • Reviews accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Liaison with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Resolve aged receipts and debit memos through collaborating with suppliers, buyers and accounts payable team.
  • Research and resolve (with quality, stock room and inspection) R/I and MMR Discrepancies that are preventing invoice processing.
  • Coordinates with Business Unit Finance on program close-outs to follow -up on any outstanding issues and ensure all transactions are complete.
  • Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledgers to the general ledger
  • Collaborates with other departments to enhance streamline processes and suggests improvements to accounts payable policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain metrics on AP activities to assess efficiency, accuracy and overall performance.
  • Possesses knowledge of use tax compliance and assists in quarterly reporting.
  • Manage yearly 1099 processing and recording



Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • Business bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 yrs. of experience (Accounting or Finance degree preferred)
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Attention to details a must
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently on assigned projects without the need for close supervision.
  • Experience in analyzing large volumes of data.
  • ERP system experience required
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills required
  • Must be a US Citizen


This position is at our Parsippany, NJ corporate offices location.

Pay Range: $28-$34/hour
