Are you a passionate Nurse Midwife looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women and families? We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Nurse Midwife to provide top-tier care and education to our obstetrical and gynecological patients. In this role, you'll combine your advanced nursing expertise with a heart for patient care to guide women through their healthcare journeys with confidence and support.

As a Nurse Midwife, you'll be providing care to your assigned caseload of patients, helping with everything from health promotion to disease prevention and the management of health and illness. You'll be a trusted mentor, educating medical and nursing students, as well as resident staff, on normal childbirth and midwifery practices. We want someone who thrives on collaboration and brings a strong commitment to patient care!

What You'll Do:

  • Patient Care and Education: Provide comprehensive care to obstetrical and gynecological patients, ensuring health promotion, disease prevention, and personalized physical and psychosocial assessments.
  • Educator Extraordinaire: Share your midwifery knowledge with medical and nursing students, resident staff, and others, helping them understand normal childbirth and midwifery practices.
  • Advanced Practice Expertise: Maintain and apply your advanced knowledge in health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of health and illness in women's health.
  • Collaborate & Lead: Work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment, always striving to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Mentor & Inspire: Guide students and resident staff in their learning, fostering a nurturing and educational environment.

What You Need to Bring:

  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
  • Licensure & Certification: Current RN license in Missouri, along with Nurse Practitioner certification and active certification as a Nurse Midwife through the American College of Nurse Midwives or recognized by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of clinical experience in midwifery practice.
  • Collaboration: Hold a current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider.
  • Certification: BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership in both patient care and as an educator in the clinical setting.
  • Clinical Expertise: Bring clinical expertise and a deep understanding of your specialty to improve patient care.

If you're ready to join a supportive team, expand your impact in women's health, and provide exceptional care to your patients, we'd love to hear from you! Apply today and become a key player in transforming the way we care for women in our community!
