*Description*
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Conference Room Support Technician in Madison, WI. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues with Zoom and Microsoft Teams in conference rooms. The technician will handle tickets through ServiceNow and provide on-site support to a diverse range of users, including executives, directors, managers, employees, and guests. *Responsibilities:* * Respond to and resolve tickets related to conference room issues via ServiceNow. * Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues within conference rooms. * Provide direct support to end users in conference rooms, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving. * Conduct regular sweeps of conference rooms to identify and address any issues not flagged by monitoring systems. * Test and prepare large conference rooms for scheduled meetings. * Provide support for large events and meetings as needed. * Update firmware and software based on guidance from team leads. * Perform cable management to ensure a tidy and functional setup. * Assist with additional tasks as assigned through the Planner tool. *Requirements:* * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Zoom. * Experience with ServiceNow is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people. * Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset. * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and use ladders safely. * Knowledge of cable management techniques. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. * Physical ability to perform tasks such as squatting, crouching, and crawling under furniture. *Skills:* * Microsoft Teams * Zoom * Cabling * Installation * Audio/Visual equipment *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
