The individual also has indirect responsibility for the commercialization of these products. In addition, the individual is responsible for assisting in the development of clinical and laboratory testing plans which will insure safe and efficacious products that meet the customer's needs and the company's quality standards Your duties will include:
The position requires the ability to evaluate problems related to design, development, manufacturing techniques and quality assurance of product designs. This position requires significant creative thinking. This individual is expected to spearhead resolutions to problems and present alternative solutions to problems. Resolutions to problems may be determined by the individual and his/her direct report or by a collective team effort, depending on the scope and magnitude of the problem. About You Interpersonal/Communication: The individual must be a team player within the company's team environment; demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills; and be willing to accept modifications to project priorities and business strategies. YOUR EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering Preferred: Master's Degree in engineering science or materials science discipline YOUR EXPERIENCE The individual in this position is not required to have industrial experience; however, evidence of a sound engineering degree is a must with optional research or laboratory experience. Education and knowledge in the fields of orthopedics, orthopedic research, biomaterials, experimental and analytical stress analysis, fatigue testing and teamwork will enhance the individual's effectiveness.
