Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring a Materials Engineer to accelerate processing and characterization of ferrous materials. This role reports into our Form Futures team, a group tasked with developing early-stage technologies to advance Form Energy's product and technology roadmaps. In this role, the Materials Engineer will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to elucidate structure-property-performance relationships through analysis of iron-based materials. The candidate should be trained in safe laboratory practices and have broad exposure to a variety of materials characterization techniques, with expertise in a few. The ideal candidate can suggest and execute appropriate techniques to characterize inorganic materials with due consideration for data quality, cost, and labor. Experience with electrochemical systems is also valuable. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a dynamic team to help define a new generation of products at a fast-moving company with an impactful mission. What you'll do:
