The Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Program at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is designed to train and develop future physicians with a strong emphasis on serving underserved communities. The program provides a comprehensive medical curriculum that integrates clinical experience, scientific learning, and professional development.
The Y2 Medical Education Coordinator supports the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs by coordinating curriculum development, learner scheduling, and accreditation-related activities. This role plays a key part in organizing wellness programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with educational policies. The Coordinator serves as a primary liaison between faculty, students, and administrative staff, managing course logistics, supporting faculty in instructional technology, and maintaining program records. Additionally, the role involves data analysis for program evaluation, financial tracking, and collaboration across various medical education initiatives to foster a supportive and efficient learning environment. The full salary range for the Y2 Medical Education Coordinator is $63,036.72 - $95,880.96 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $77,798.88 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days on-site at the UCR campus and two days remote. |
