Administrative Director of Patient Care (RN), Livingston, NJ, Full Time, Days

Job Overview:

The experienced Administrative Director of Patient Care (RN) reports to the Chief Nursing Officer, who oversees the Nursing Float Pool, Nursing Supervisors and Nursing Staffing Office. Responsible for the daily operations and fiscal management of these departments. Ensures efficient patient care and service outcomes by monitoring the competency and level of staff to ensure adequate department coverage. Coordinates departmental performance improvement activities and actively participates in the department and hospital-wide P.I. initiatives. Focused initiatives on enhancing the work environment, the patient experience, and the quality of care delivered. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure continuity of patient care and/or services provided, and functions in accordance with hospital and regulatory agency standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BSN Required
• Proven Management Background with a minimum of 2 Years Nursing Leadership Experience.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree
• Nursing Certification

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association
