The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $149,000 to 219,450 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Managing all supply chain sustainability campaigns (ESG/ EPC) globally and especially within Americas and Canada this includes developing and implementing global and local sustainability initiatives, conducting supplier audits and risk assessments, and managing supplier relationships

  • Managing and ensuring that Dematic/ Americas & Canada is aligned with corporate sustainability KPIs and the Global Supplier Sustainability Strategy

  • First contact person for local procurement team in Americas and Canada

  • Managing the implementation and execution of sustainability criterias into daily procurement business and ensure that sustainability requirements are a mandatory part of the procurement processes and is responsible to monitor its execution.

  • Sustainability Training internal/ external

  • Managing the global supplier sustainability team that is responsible for ESG and EPC

  • Responsible for the quarterly internal KPI reporting in Procurement

  • Supporting/ managing different sustainability projects within KION of different teams (Product Sustainability, Quality, R&D) with regards to supplier communication and supplier involvement

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor/Masters degree (or equivalent) in Sustainability, Economics, Logistics or Compliance

  • Experiences in Sustainability Work, preferable in a project based organization

  • Experience in creation, implementation, and management of strategies surrounding supplier risk and sustainability

  • Ability to create and implement dashboards for reporting

  • Experiences in Procurement or Supply Chain preferable

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong understanding of data reading and working with data, analyzing data

  • Experienced in MS-Outlook, Excel, Word as well as in PowerBi (preferable)

  • Problem solving attitude, hands-on, high self-motivation and initiative

  • Strong communication skills as well as cultural awareness

  • Team orientation
