Vaco has partnered with a Phoenix client to hire an experienced leader with a strong background in Release Management. In this role you will help build and drive the vision of a new release management program across the organization. You will have a strong background in product release management, leadership, and process adoption and previous experience building and rolling out release programs. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the release process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely product deployments. You will bring expertise with ServiceNow release tools and previous experience building programs in this environment. Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a new release management program from the ground up.
  • Drive the vision and execution of release management processes, taking over from initial planning and building it into a sustainable program.
  • Oversee the governance of release management, including defining release windows, metrics, KPIs, and process adherence.
  • Establish and maintain standards and procedures for release management, ensuring all documentation, approvals, reviews, and enterprise processes are followed throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Align with various product teams across the organization to ensure smooth releases, from planning through production deployment.
  • Work closely with leadership and other departments to drive process adoption and ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve release performance through detailed analysis of metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure that all necessary standards, process checkpoints, and approval stages are properly managed and followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in release management.
  • Proven experience building and rolling out a release management program, ideally for a new or evolving process.
  • Strong familiarity with ServiceNow - Release V2; Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Financial, Fintech, or banking industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience with process adoption, including getting buy-in from leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex release cycles and ensure all deadlines, documentation, and approvals are met.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
