A local company on the island of Oahu is seeking for a Java Developer. In this role, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our established system while contributing to the design and development of new, forward-thinking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. *Responsibilities:* * Maintain and enhance the company platform, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. * Design and develop new features that deliver value and enhance the user experience. * Partner with the product team and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. * Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and performance. *Required Skills and Qualifications:* * Proficiency in Java 8+ and object-oriented design principles. * Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices. * Hands-on experience with Git for source control and version management. * Familiarity with MVC frameworks including Spring. * Understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with web services technologies such as REST, WSDL, and SOAP. * Knowledge of automation testing tools like JUnit and Selenium. * Database management experience with MySQL and MongoDB. * Previous exposure to extending legacy platforms with modern solutions. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $135000.00/yr. Excellent PTO, holidays paid and 401K matching. Also bonus structure is good.
