*TEKsystems is currently searching for qualified candidates to fill openings for a Delinquency Control Counselor position with a reputable credit union in the Pensacola, FL area.*
*This position is NOT fully remote and requires working onsite. All candidates must live in a commutable distance to the Pensacola, FL area.* * * *Description:* Call center production environment, auto-dialer making outbound calls, will receive in-bound calls. Early stage collections(1-30 days late), 80-120+ calls per day. *Responsibilities* * Provide member financial counseling and mitigate loss for the credit union. * Contact delinquent members in an attempt to cure delinquency utilizing all payment options and loss mitigation tools offered by the credit union * Obtain detailed financial information from delinquent members and analyzes information gathered to determine optimal solutions for curing delinquency * Notate in Collection systems members' arrangements, reason(s) for delinquency, and any offered charge-off alternatives * Offer short/long term solutions including repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, personal finance management and deferral programs * Explain and communicate relinquishing options such as settlements * Maintain working knowledge of the federal and state consumer protection laws *Experience* *and Qualifications:* * 2-3 years of recent experience working in a customer service/collections/financial environment * Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone * Ability to navigate multiple systems and high volume incoming calls * Professional written and verbal communication * Problem solving skills, patience, empathy *Schedule:* Must be able to work a 11:30am-8:00pm shift after training. Must be comfortable working EVERY Saturday. When working a Saturday shift you will have a rotating day off throughout the week. Saturday shift is always 8:00am-4:30pm. Hybrid schedule, 1 day per week (4 days per month onsite required)Training and working on site fully is an option *Training:* 4 Weeks MANDATORY Hybrid training: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm CST. Directly after training is a 4 week MANDATORY nesting period which will be fully onsite at the Pensacola, FL campus.
