Our client is searching for a Telecommunications Construction Auditor to work out of the Ruston, Louisiana location.
This position is a long-term, contract-to-hire position and the pay will be based on experience. Candidates must be able to travel to sites. Duties: The Construction Auditor is responsible for conducting inspections on both new and existing plant in various markets. The Construction Auditor must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven and comfortable working with technology. This role requires self-motivation and strong project coordination experience in order to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross-functional teams. Daily Duties: *Conducts inspections on both new and existing plant facilities *Monitors for safety issues in the field and reports findings to construction manager / supervisor *Sends findings to relevant teams to ensure proper follow-up *Manages data within proprietary software *Checks and responds to emails in a timely manner *Able to work necessary hours as required to meet project deadlines *Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other locations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: *Knowledge of company policies and procedures *Knowledge of telecommunications network design and construction practices *Knowledge of various operating systems, Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook *Strong organization and time management skills *Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details *Proficient in the use of appropriate project management reporting and tracking software *Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently *Flexible during times of change *Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, contractors, and other departments; All candidates must submit to a drug and background check, as well as have a valid driver's license. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
