Palace Entertainment is a subsidiary of Parques Reunidos, one of the leading global operators, with more than 60 different assets (theme parks, zoos and marine parks, water parks and other attractions), spread out over various countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia.

Oversee all aspects of revenue departments including Food & Beverage, Retail, and Admissions in compliance with all applicable standards for food preparation, service and safety. This position will work in direct coordination with both the Retail & Admissions Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager.

We are currently looking for a:

Noah's Ark - Director of In-Park Revenue - Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a guest-first approach towards park operation
  • Maintain and submit accurate monthly inventories for Retail and Food & Beverage in coordination with direct report managers
  • Manage and control all financial aspects of the departments while maximizing revenue and cost-savings opportunities.
  • Develop and reconcile labor and expense budgets for all revenue departments
  • Compare invoices with price sheets and monitor returns for credits
  • Ensure tickets and products are setup correctly within POS and Inventory system
  • Monitor POS menus throughout park to ensure pricing and items are accurate
  • Oversee Front Gate and Parking operations
  • Ensure Food and Beverage team maintains sanitation, cleanliness, safety standards, proper PPE is worn as deemed by ServSafe in all food stand locations
  • Monitor labor regulations within departments and ensure employee breaks are given in a timely manner
  • Administrative duties including assisting with weekly schedule according to the weekly labor budget and line schedules, entering daily revenue, ordering supplies in conjunction with direct reporting managers
  • Assembling reports and studies of annual sales
  • Coordinate, develop and schedule training manuals for all revenue departments
  • Oversee and audit daily time sheets of all revenue departments to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies and have grasp on appropriate labor usage
  • Create, compile, and analyze reports including Food Cost, Over/Short logs, Attendance Logs, Safety Inspections, and Labor Costs
  • Develop working relationships with Retail and Food & Beverage vendors
  • Ability to speak with guests directly to resolve any guest concerns
  • Assist in other areas of park functions
  • Perform any additional duties instructed by General Manager

Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree

Languages: English

  • Computer Proficiency - MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of Food and Beverage/Retail and experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Position will be working with students from various countries and must be willing and able to effectively communicate with employees who speak English as a second language.

Other:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Retail Management experience a plus
  • Must be willing to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season of April through September
  • Capability to lift moderate weight up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and twist
  • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
  • Maintain confidentiality of park operations and revenue at all times
  • Demonstrate basic math skills
  • Comply to all uniform policies
  • Demonstrate excellent Guest Service and maintain a professional image at all times
