Job Posting End Date: Until Filled Shift: 1st Security Clearance: No Clearance SUMMARY The Manager of Total Rewards & Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is responsible for overseeing the Compensation, Employee Benefits, and HRIS functional teams and supporting senior leadership to identify, develop, translate and deploy strategic initiatives in these areas. The Manager oversees the day-to-day delivery of NASSCO's compensation, health, welfare and retirement programs and is accountable for the ongoing implementation and design of all Total Rewards programs to optimize the company's competitive position and employee experience. The manager is also responsible for overseeing all HRIS systems and provides data management and visualization support and analytics to stakeholders across the enterprise. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work primarily conducted in an office setting with good lighting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Regularly required to sit, use hands to fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and maintain the ability to commute to other buildings in and outside the shipyard for meetings, presentations and training. Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise. ACCOUNTABILITY This position reports to the Vice President ot Human Resources. The Manager of Total Rewards & HRIS supervises the Compensation, Employee Benefits, and HRIS functional teams of exempt and non-exempt employees. This role must demonstrate high integrity, confidentiality, solid work ethic and a commitment to General Dynamics GD NASSCO. The position may also oversee the activities of external consultants and service providers. PAY SCALE $131,325 - $169,950 This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
