We're hiring a Vice President of Software Engineering to set the strategic direction for enterprise applications and integrations across our organization. Command the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise-level software solutions.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with business and product leaders to align technology with enterprise goals
  • Unified Engineering Vision: Build frameworks and standards that unify development, deployment, and innovation
  • Business Partnership: Prioritize and deliver engineering initiatives that move the business forward
  • DevOps Leadership: Drive agile and DevOps maturity, implementing CI/CD pipelines that deliver speed and stability
  • Team Development: Lead and grow high-performing, geographically dispersed engineering teams

  • Technology Roadmaps: Define and execute the lifecycle of enterprise applications and integrations
  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs for deployment speed, uptime, velocity, and issue resolution
  • Systems Optimization: Drive seamless interoperability through smart integration and reliable APIs
  • Innovation Engine: Evaluate and deploy new tools and frameworks to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Risk & Reliability: Own production systems with high availability, SRE practices, and performance tuning
  • Leadership at the Table: Influence decisions at the highest levels with insights, roadmaps, and technical vision
What You Bring to the Table
Deep technical expertise. Visionary leadership. Results that matter.
  • Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field required; Master's preferred
  • Leadership Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, including 6+ years in executive-level leadership
  • Industry Edge: Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain preferred
  • Architecture Mastery: Advanced knowledge of enterprise integration, cloud computing, APIs, and microservices
  • Modern Tech Stack: Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, data interoperability-you've done it and led it
  • Problem Solving: You know how to break down complexity and build strategic, scalable solutions
  • Communication Skills: Able to connect with engineers, executives, and cross-functional teams with clarity and influence
  • Global Readiness: Valid passport required; up to 20% domestic and international travel

The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: SAN RAFAEL, CA. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 1: Starting rate $260,000; up to $310,000 for highly qualified candidates
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 30% of eligible compensation
