Job Description

Coordinate production of printed materials, or print related services for the company's clients. Maintain positive client relations through active engagement through all stages of the manufacturing process from initial contact through final disposition of the client's product/service.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary liaison between the sales professional, the production teams and serves as the client's advocate to achieve the best project outcomes which may include.
  • Providing all necessary client and sales support up to and including issue resolution
  • Address customer concerns, invoice reconciliation, proof of deliveries, order status
  • Process orders accurately in all appropriate systems
  • Provides client support and communication throughout the project lifecycle, which may include: gathering job requirements and approvals; translate client requirements into detailed manufacturing/kitting instructions and shipping/postal instructions for disposition of the end products; coordinate any changes; obtain all relevant client and internal approvals, client proofs etc.
  • May make suggestions regarding process improvements
  • Provides client services for small to medium accounts. Secondary support to larger accounts.
  • Provide quality review for other Print Production Account Representatives to ensure all information is accounted for and accurate before commencement of production.
  • Ensure job instructions are entered and verified in the various manufacturing systems and queued in to the production schedule.
  • May coordinate production of components with other internal plants and/or external vendors as required.
  • Monitor progress of jobs throughout production, confer with manufacturing to ensure the final product meets client requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of work performed in order to assemble appropriate documentation for timely billing.
  • May have responsibility for determining the supplies and paper needed for jobs including the use of vendors to supply components of the customer product.
  • May assist sales in the RFP process
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • HS Diplomaor equivalent preferred with 2+ years of relevant customer service/administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job, .
  • Requires very good knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes to successfully execute and complete the more progressive/complex duties of the job.
  • Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and impact work has on department or company.
  • Requires excellent knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job.
  • Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.
  • Must have working knowledge of systems such as MS Office and/or MAC as well as the Google Suite or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfully.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $41,900 to $59400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future.At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
