POSITION SUMMARY:

Student will learn how to perform basic research as a part of the Ines and Fredrick Yeatts lab

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read, analyze and summarize published literature
• Develop an understanding of basic research
• Attend relevant meetings
• Perform chemical inventory
• Assist in lab where appropriate
• Observe all laboratory techniques and prepare a laboratory training manual at the end of the internship

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Enrolled at a college and/or university in good academic standing. - Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Lab setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possible lifting of 10 to 20 lbs., depending on nature of chosen project(s).
