Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position will be located in our Southampton, PA location.

Job Type: Full-time

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Process orders and assist with customers inquiries over the phone and via email.
  • Support and develop relationships with Industrial MRO and OEM customers by providing product recommendations, sourcing solutions, and technical assistance.
  • Assist in identifying customer needs, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical components and supplies.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to offer competitive pricing, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Record and enter orders into computer accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and quickly communicate problem items and orders to customer.
  • Communicate all items of importance to the internal team.
  • Monitor and maintain calling, open order, back order, and trouble queues.
  • Provide new and current customers with product information including pricing, delivery, inventory stocking, and/or back-order and availability.
  • Establish sales quotes based on volume of products purchased and nature of marketplace to effectively offer competitive pricing.
  • Maintain, manage, and develop customer data bases.
  • Assist with tender/proposals and work with external suppliers.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the branch manager including but not limited to warehouse and administrative functions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales and consumer goods experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Articulate and well organized
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
  • Driven to succeed, motivated by rewards and incentives
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Phone skills are critical: (no phone fear!) must be well-spoken and willing to learn new product lines
  • Can handle objection and adversity with ease and professionalism
