The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Growth Specialist to join our Document Cloud team, focusing on the public sector. This role is pivotal in driving deep engagement within accounts, identifying key stakeholders, and ensuring customers realize the full value of their investment in our software. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hunting and closing deals, selling to the C-suite, and employing value-based selling techniques.

What you'll Do
  • Account Deep Dive:Engage deeply with assigned accounts to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within the organization.
  • Value Realization:Work closely with customers to ensure they are fully utilizing the software they have purchased, driving value realization and customer satisfaction.
  • Internal Collaboration:Triangulate internally with various teams to align on customer strategies and deliver a cohesive approach to account management.
  • Public Sector Focus:Leverage your expertise in the public sector to tailor solutions and strategies that meet the unique needs of government and public institutions.
  • Hunting and Closing:Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive the sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • C-Suite Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, understanding their strategic objectives and positioning our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Value Selling:Employ value-based selling techniques to articulate the benefits and ROI of our Document Cloud solutions.
What you need to succeed
  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on the public sector.
  • Track Record:Demonstrated success in hunting and closing deals, particularly with C-suite executives.
  • Skills:Strong understanding of value-based selling and the ability to communicate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Tactfulness:Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus.
  • Public Sector Knowledge:Deep understanding of the public sector landscape, including procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration:Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to drive customer success.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $100,900 -- $179,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
