Responsibilities

Empower AI: As an Administrative Specialist, you will work with a team of professionals who are responsible for designing, implementing, and administering security systems for the safety of the United States. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

    Provide on-site administrative, clerical and secretarial support to our customer's front-office Senior managers and staff in a highly visible position on our team.
  • Administrative tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Timekeeping management
    • Greeting visitors
    • Answering the main office phone and taking messages as required
    • Performs clerical and secretarial tasks such as typing, filing, copying, handling of mail and telephones
    • Prepare, write, and edit a variety of correspondence, letters, and memos
    • Prepare, create, format, and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and charts
    • Monitor and track the status of acquisitions and other staffing actions
    • Performs work of highly-confidential nature to relieve senior managers of wide range of administrative details
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of applications, ie MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.
    • Coordinates corporate information with PM and site Lead


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance Required: US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Secret clearance

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-years of experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Microsoft Office Training and Certification is a plus

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
