The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking aMachinistto join our team.

As a machinist in the Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) production department you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The EUV department produces EUV pods that are utilized by our customers during their manufacturing processes. In this role, you will both set up and operate CNC machines and actively troubleshoot any technical challenges that may arise during production.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 11PM-7:30AM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

What You'll do:

• Set ups and operates CNC machinery to produce EUV pods components, in accordance with specifications.

• Monitors and troubleshoots production issues as they arise throughout the manufacturing process.

• Performs CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks, tool replacements, and housekeeping duties as needed.

• Glues fixtures and other components to the components prior to being machined.

• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications by utilizing Coordinate-measuring Machines (CMMs) and Camline software.

• Performs wet and dry tumbling processes on machined parts to achieve desired surface finish and deburring effects.

• Ensures the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards.

• Assists manufacturing technicians by providing guidance in machine operation and by troubleshooting issues that arise during production.

• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely.

• Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.

• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.

• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

What We Seek:

• Vocational or technical training in machining or two (2) years of equivalent experience.

• One (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency in reading and understanding G code.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and machine troubleshooting skills.

• Basic knowledge about powered hand tools.

• Basic computer and data entry skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance. Ability to understand documented processes and procedures.

• Compensation is $21 HR. plus a $1.50 shift differential
