Job Description

This position at our Portland photography studio will serve as one of the key liaisons between clients, creative and studio operations to create a seamless workflow that exceeds client expectations. Primary responsibilities include enriching the client experience with RRD through service, a positive attitude, a sense of urgency, clear communication, and utmost professionalism in all interactions, ensuring account satisfaction and service excellence. A keen understanding of talent and crew procurement is a top priority.

Responsibilities

  • Handles assigned accounts, including complex, high-volume and high-profile customer accounts with minimal supervision.
  • Translates job requirements into studio needs including freelance requirements.
  • Recruits freelance talent and negotiates rates with the supervision of the Creative Operations Manager.
  • Identifies a client's creative and budgetary needs, assembles and directs the appropriate talent as required.
  • Supports on-set clients and talent.
  • Maintains studio booking calendar.
  • Collects billing and closes the project.
  • Identifies, communicates and solves issues that may arise.
  • Provides over-the-top customer service by always meeting client needs, quickly resolving challenges, and exceeding expectations.
  • Responsible for photography data collection.
  • Increases potential for volume efficiencies.
  • Uses ethical business practices in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, suppliers and the community.

Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of prior high-volume, photo production experience necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong and effective client and internal team relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to direct a variety of personalities.
  • Flexible.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $73,200 to $114,300/year.The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
