Summary:

Outpatient Physical Therapist wanted to join a dynamic, expert team in a variety of specialties as well as generalists for common ailments, injuries, and chronic progressive disease clients. Our department primarily treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations with occasionally working with orthopedic diagnoses for pediatric clients. Our Outpatient PTs will work closely with one or two clinic PTAs who specialize in outpatient practices for a team approach to care. Our 2 Outpatient clinics treat orthopedic injuries, pre or post surgical clients, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, amputees, vestibular, pelvic floor, lymphedema, work related or MVA, spinal disorders, etc to name just a few. We provide a well-rounded treatment approach including the patient in the care plan and goals offering manual therapy, modalities, prescription therapeutic exercise, dry needling, aquatics, and patient education with self-management techniques.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  3. Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred.
