Military OneSource is a comprehensive support service provided by the U.S. Department of Defense. It's designed to offer a wide range of resources and confidential help to service members and their families. This role will be responsible for providing behavioral health/non-medica, short-term, solution focused consultation directly to service and family members. Services are provided virtually (phone, video, chat). Services include brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate) and follow up as indicated. The operating hours will be 6:00am to 10:00pm Mountain Time, seven days a week. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available, weekend days may be required. Schedules are full time, 5 days a week for 8 hour shifts. You do NOT need to reside in Utah but do need to already be licensed in the state of Utah. Responsibilities to include: Provide appropriate type of service based on member's presentation, clinical history and needs and accurately differentiate between NMC and Military medical services. Formulate accurate description of member's clinical presentation in their individual clinical records and maintaining appropriate records, case notes, forms and reports as well as database entries. Maintain appropriate confidentiality according to DoD standards. Manage duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol. Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and training opportunities Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in psychology, social work, marriage/family therapy or counseling or related mental health field. Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification in Utah, which grants the authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields, such as LP, LMFT, LCSW, CMHC
