Product Owner - Health Sciences

We are looking for strong Product Owner candidates with Healthcare background preferably Pharmacy / Payer experience.

1. Work with the Product team to understand the product roadmap, work on Priority features, account management's enhancement request, and production defects.
2. Review Backlog and Clear the back log, Document Future Enhancements
3. Work with UX designer to make sure needed mock-ups are finalized.
4. Ensure user stories are ready, work on backlog grooming, and write stories acceptance criteria.
5. Define and document product requirements that are clear, buildable, testable, and based on detailed designs.
6. Support engineering in identifying the business needs, their priority, impact, and urgency.
7. Work with Internal stakeholders and ensure newly developed feature meets the requirements with quality standards.
8. Conduct Demos for internal stakeholders.

Skillsets Required:

1. 3+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
2. 5+ years of agile product management delivery experience
3. 5+ years of Healthcare payer or provider domain experience
4. 1+ year of Pharmacy fulfillment / Supply chain management, pharmacy, inventory management experience
5. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
6. Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to complexity and communicate customer needs, architectural requirements, and product goals across cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to understand and create microservices architecture, business process, and system architecture as a non-developer.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
