IT Network Specialist Location: San Francisco, California, United States (remote) *Work Authorization: This position will not provide sponsorship now or in future. Roles & Responsibilities:** * Firewall rule reviews, F5 VIP review * Collaboration with application teams to review firewall rulesets, validate rules are still required and implemented effectively * Rule recertification in Tufin * Identification and labelling of rules used for Disaster Recovery * Review of firewall rulesets to remove unused objects * Review of F5 configurations to remove unused objects * Executing reports as required * Meeting with application teams * New process onboarding * CIP Background Check/Training * Provide ideas on where to eliminate repetitive work * Palo Alto Networks Firewall, F5 ADC Required Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of IT operations experience with focus on network security. * Preferred CISSP certification, Palo Alto Networks or F5 Certifications; Other security specific credentials * Bachelor's degree or equivalent *Applications will be accepted till 3/12/25 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position [$134,000 to $154,000] is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
