Role: Datacenter Technician Location: San Antonio, Texas (100% onsite) Job Requirements: * 4-6 years' experience working in a Data Center Environment * Have a strong background in wiring infrastructure installation and removal * Have experience installing troubleshooting terminating labeling and testing copper Cat-5 6 and fiber optic wiring * Experience troubleshooting server switch routers and other hardware in a sometimes fast paced environment * Experience working on Windows OS with assisted strong problem-solving skills * Experience working with Office products Word Excel PPT Visio and other remote utility tools Windows programs. * Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal and vendor support teams and Proficiency in email communication * Able to handle high Priority ticket situations to complete task during outages
* Willingness to respond and work during afterhours on On Call support on a rotational basis. * Able to work on rotational shift between 7am to 7pm shifts * Available for On Call 2 weeks rotating schedule 24/7 Data center support. * Able to stand for long periods at a time in the Data Center * Follow safety guidelines in the Data Center and DC Workroom. Wear steel toe or composite toe footwear. * Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices. * High School Diploma or degree in computer science information technology or similar. * Have a valid TX Driver License * Must have reliable self-transportation at any point in time. * Can lift up to 50-75 pounds.
