Project Manager

We are seeking an expert Project Manager with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MS SQL Server Spring boot Microservices Java Message Service Java Design Patterns Core Java and Advanced Java. Experience in the Electronic Payments domain is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Location: Cleveland - OH USA

Responsibilities

Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within the specified timelines.

Coordinate the planning execution and delivery of projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Provide technical mentorship and support to team members leveraging expertise in MS SQL Server Springboot Microservices Java Message Service Java Design Patterns Core Java and Advanced Java.

Monitor project progress and performance identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.

Ensure alignment to best practices and industry standards in software development and project management.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and collaborators.

Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.

Implement and maintain project documentation including project plans schedules and reports.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team performance.

Ensure the successful integration of technical components and systems within the project.

Foster a positive and productive work environment promoting partnership and teamwork.

Apply proven experience in Electronic Payments to provide valuable insights and solutions.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in MS SQL Server Springboot Microservices Java Message Service Java Design Patterns Core Java and Advanced Java.

Have a demonstrated ability in project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Demonstrate excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Show proficiency in project planning execution and monitoring.

Have experience in the Electronic Payments domain (nice to have).

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Be detail-oriented and highly organized.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/17/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000- $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
