The Henry Ford St. John Hospital Oncology Research Department focuses on the study of cancer, including cancer care, treatment, and potential cures. We coordinate national studies through our Michigan Cancer Consortium NCORP affiliation and industry-sponsored studies. The department supports study participants at 3 main locations, in Detroit (Van Elslander Cancer Center), Warren (Webber Cancer Center) and Macomb Township (23-mile clinic). Our team has a close working relationship. The CRA plays a pivotal role in the conduct of our clinical research studies and clinical trials, collaborating with the team, our investigators, the MCRC NCORP Operations Office and industry sponsors. The primary responsibilities of the role include following ICH-GCP and institutional processes in the areas of regulatory compliance, data collection and communication, protocol adherence and participant enrollment.
