Job Description: Job Description: Must have a Class B - CDL as driver will be driving a Box truck or a Flat Bed with automatic transmission. Both trucks will have pallets jacks, dolly and liftgates. Driver will be going to jobsites, customer shops and warehouse. It is expected that the driver will load his truck and off load his truck. When not driving Candidate will be expected to work in the warehouse. Duties will include pulling orders, operating both a sit down forklift and a picker. The picker extends to about 20ft high. Maintaining warehouse housekeeping. This could be a potential temp to perm position for the right candidate!
** Must be 21 years or older!** All drivers must hold the required state-issued self-certification designation of non-excepted interstate and provide proof. All drivers must hold at a minimum a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License. All drivers must have at least one (1) year of driving the class of vehicles they will be driving while assigned to *** Enterprises, Inc. All drivers must have had a CDL for minimum of one year. In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operations. Job Functions: Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor. Validate directions. Unload or assist in unloading material as required. Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits. Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature. Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day. Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit. Pick up local-pickup purchase orders. Secure and return packing list(s). Verify all material has been unloaded and placed at the delivery site. Verify the customers signature on the delivery ticket. Print name next to signature if necessary. Review delivered orders with the supervisor for completion, accuracy, and format. Return all delivery ticket copies to warehouse and verify that none are missing. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations. Fuel the truck as necessary. Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the supervisor Compliance with company uniform policy. Assist in warehouse as necessary. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service. Abide by all polices, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company. Work overtime as needed. Comments for Suppliers: Must be willing to work 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F, Must be willing to work overtime and Saturday Shifts. Unpaid 30 min lunch |
