AWS Databricks Engineer- Onsite

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Support lead with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Scheduling Basics External Scheduler PL/SQL Data WareHousing Concepts Informatica Scheduler ETL SQL Data Integration Informatica PowerCenter and Unix Shell Scripting. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid role with rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and other ETL tools.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data warehousing solutions to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Provide expertise in PL/SQL and SQL for database management and optimization.

Supporting already existing code base across various environments. Providing L2/L3 support of the applications and on call support on weekend as applicable. Informatica Oracle Unix

Ensuring failures/ abends are handled and fixes applied. Working with team on defect fixes.

Handshake of support with offshore.

Implement and manage scheduling solutions using External Scheduler and Informatica Scheduler.

• Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for automation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources and systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and database queries.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Scheduling Basics External Scheduler PL/SQL Data WareHousing Concepts Informatica Scheduler ETL SQL Data Integration Informatica PowerCenter and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Nice to have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts.
• Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Must have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
