DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role reports to the Solutions Manager and is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing the operations and support of Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET) and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) solutions. You primary responsibilities will be to lead, mentor, and manage a solutions support team responsible for public safety IT systems, as well as oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization of cloud-based and on-premise solutions. This includes coordinating with Commonwealth and Public Safety Enterprise teams when and where appropriate. You will also support your team and public safety efforts through process improvement and compliance; stakeholder and vender coordination; overseeing service desk and customer support for mission critical services; system performance, budgeting, and procurement; and participation in disaster relief and business continuity plans. Your work will be essential for ensuring 24/7 operational support and compliance with Commonwealth Policy, FBI CJIS Security Policy, NIST frameworks, and public safety regulations. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Ten years of professional information technology experience; or
- Six years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- Certain positions require certifications or other special requirements that will be identified based on the position's specific needs, such as the ITIL Foundations certification, that will be necessary upon hire or obtained within a period of time after hire, as designated by the hiring manager.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Five or more years of experience in IT operations, systems management, or application support.
- Two or more years of experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS applications.
- Experience in regulated environments (CJIS, NIST, HIPAA, PCI, or similar) with the ability to adapt compliance knowledge to public safety standards.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow, or other ITSM tools.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Strong cloud security, networking, and system integration expertise.
- Experience with at least one or more programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell) to assist in automation, troubleshooting, and integration tasks.
- Certifications including:
- Cloud Practitioner
- Administrator
- Solutions Architect
- ITIL Foundations
