Job Description The Nursing Lab and Simulation Tutor will work with nursing faculty and students on our Amherst campus and online to promote opportunities for educational development and growth. This position reports directly to the Simulation Lab Director when performing duties related to the teaching, tutoring, training, or lab prep. Primary teaching responsibilities will be teaching in the Simulation Lab. The Nursing Lab and Simulation Tutor will collaborate with faculty in conducting simulation scenarios and debriefing sessions. The Nursing Lab and Simulation Tutor will be working with academic leadership in the College of Nursing to provide short-term and long-range comprehensive strategic and operational planning in support of the simulation laboratories. The Nursing Lab and Simulation Tutor will be actively involved in the academic program and curriculum committee meetings for the integration of simulation experiences in meeting course and program objectives. Initial appointment of one year. Potential for reappointments and continuing appointment dependent on funding. Essential Functions
