Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity fora Senior Business Intelligence Program Managerto join our rapidly growing Network Transformation organization! This position will build and maintain reporting & insights systems that support our entrepreneurial business requirements.Our ideal candidate has a strong background in identifying immediate and tangible solutions amidst large and complex data sets and the ability to transform insights into strategic opportunities.The position requires strong data hands-on skills and experience as well as establishing close business relationships and stakeholders across the Network Planning, Engineering, NOC, Field Operations, Marketing, CARE, and Service Assurance organizations.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Program Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzingdata from internal and external sources to ensure accurate data for business consumption, including SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, JRM, LeaseNet, Costar, JDS, WFMT, NDS, CLM, APO, FT3, ARMOR, MARTEN, Power, and various other related applications
• Managingprojects/programs from end-to-end
• Ensuringprojects meet network readiness dates within budget allotments
• Creatingprocess and workflow documentation related to the programs and projects to ensure that all stakeholders are informed, and progress is catalogued
• Utilizingunderstanding of multiple data structures and sources to design, developing and implementing decision support solutions, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, or data collection
• Partneringwith IT to influence the design, alignment, and implementation of ETL processes and data structures to allow for deeper analysis for current and long-term solutions
• Developinginnovative approaches to address complex data issues and business problems to facilitate Legacy equipment decommissions
• Collaboratingwith internal stakeholders to define business requirements and uses those requirements to develop business intelligence reports
• Evaluatingbusiness needs and objectives to inform your OSP architecture design solutions to Leaders and stakeholders
• Designing, developing and maintaining our reporting infrastructure using the various reporting stacks including Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Looker, and QlikSense
• Servingas a technical business analyst / consultant to non-technical stakeholders
  
  

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS, or similar quantitative field preferred
• 10+ years of extensive Telecomm background/experience in installation, maintenance and repair of all variations of Copper and Fiber services is preferred
• 5+ years of project/program management experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience as an engineer, planner, OSP designer or Network data analyst with a strong technical foundation
• Experience with Telcom Network Design systems preferred (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld)
• Hands-on development experience with at least one of the leading reporting tools, including Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Looker, and QlikSense
• Extensive experience in working with complex datasetsfrom internal program databases
• Experience with big data technologies and advanced data analytics is preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, leading, and participating in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment concurrently on multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Commitment to excellence - quality, detail and deadline driven.
• Ability to work independently without frequent direction
• Entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership attitude
