Job Summary Our Shared Services - Accounting & Finance Sector is seeking an Intern to join our team in Chicago, or remotely within North America. The ideal candidate will be pursuing their bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and is eager to translate their knowledge of financial terms and principles to real-world experience. Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOUNTING & FINANCE:

  • Learn the full accounting cycle as part of the monthly close process
  • Learn Deltek Vision System including uploading journal entries, data mining, generating financial reports, etc.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with producing financial reports, data entry and extraction from OneStream Consolidation Reporting System
  • Participate in financial modeling i.e. collaborating with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
  • Provide support for annual budgeting process
  • Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects
  • Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments upon request

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in either Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
