Job Summary

We are seeking a Scada Ignition Lead Engineer with 6 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ignition Full Stack Business Analysis & Planning Data Modelling Test and Defect Management DevOps and Ignition. This role requires domain experience in Well Data Management. The work model is Onsite with day shifts and no travel required.

Mandatory Skills:

* Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of various key manufacturing systems technology and business platforms with an awareness of architecture*

* Must have hands - on experience on Ignition SCADA.

* Should be proficient all Ignition Modules like Alarm, EAM, Device driver, Tag historian, DB Management, MQTT etc.

* Should be proficient in various Ignition Architecture, Licensing scheme, Python Scripting, Reporting in ignition.

* Experience on large scale design and development of HMI, MES, and SCADA systems built around the Ignition platform

* Experience in implementing complex network architecture in cloud and on-premises Ignition SCADA system and troubleshooting knowledge*

* Experience working with various device interfaces like OPC UA, Modbus, DNP, MQTT etc.

* Ability to understand PLC logic and programming*

* Work on large and complex projects for SCADA and High-Level Controls with minimum supervision.

* Experience working with JDBC, ODBC databases, writing medium to complex queries, stored procedures, functions.

* Provide technical advice for agile development and CI/CD integration and support of automated deployment on various cloud platform.

* Should be proficient on leading cloud platform like MS Azure, AWS etc.

* Ready to learn new technologies and flexible to adopt domains.

* Follows defined processes and provides inputs for betterment where possible.

Pre-requisite Skills: -

* B. Tech/B.E in Any Specialization

* Minimum 6 years of experience in related field

* Hands on experience on Ignition, Python Scripting, Handling SQL Queries

* Communication/Network Protocols-OPC, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, ModbusTCP/IP

* Knowledge of Industrial PLC systems

* Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management and clients

* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have:

* Ignition Core/Gold Certification

Compensation: - $90,000 to $130,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted till 04/12/2025
