Johnson Controls is seeking Entry-Level Machine Operator III for our 3rd shift! These are great roles to gain new skills and join an ever-growing brand! Apply now for immediate consideration.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Work Safe! Basic computer operating skills. Obtain and verify blueprint from MES.
  • Working on various machines including Auto Shear, Twelve Foot shear, and eventually press brakes.
  • This is an ENTRY LEVEL role so all training WILL be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience with using decimals, fractions, measuring tape, additions, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • This role is entry level and training will be provided!

This opportunity is working a weekend shift (Fri-Sun 4:00am-5:30pm)

Continuous pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of heavy and/or bulky sheet metal parts required. Weight amounts may vary from 5 pounds to 50 pounds, any amount over 50 pounds requires physical or mechanical help. Rotating of upper body to lift, move and positions parts to and from machine. Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Ability to reach overhead, above shoulder and/or chest level to place parts and dies in machine. Continuous visual demand to position parts in machine safely and efficiently. Mental/visual attention required to perform set-up. Must be able to recognize machine difficulties quickly and take action to stop machine.
