Position Summary:

In the Sales Operations Manager position, you will be responsible for leading Benco's sales improvement initiatives by leveraging technology solutions, data-based decision-making, and lean management techniques. This role manages coordination and execution of installation and training for high-tech equipment installations. Also responsible for field service procedures and protocol, ensuring processes are consistent and best practices are standardized in the field. In this role you will work with vendors, sales and marketing on service promotions to drive key equipment lines. This role will establish KPIs and service metrics while providing oversight for regulatory, compliance, and safety policy in field service. The Sales Operations Manager also oversees service training programs, evaluates effectiveness of training and works with partners to prepare for the training needs and service protocols for new product launches.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?



  • Business owner for field service systems to provide the industry's best service experience; executes the strategic vision throughout the organization
  • Lead project teams within sales operations
  • Works with IT and other partners to define requirements for needed system customizations and be responsible for configuration and administration for field service management systems
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff assigned to the sales operations team
  • Work with sales leadership to develop and execute best practices for sales operations, and to ensure compliance throughout the organization
  • Drive a continuous improvement program based on the desire to become a world class service provider in the dental industry
  • Primary point of contact for all vendor service concerns: service bulletins, new product launches, training, promotions, contests, etc
  • Work with District Service Managers, Regional Sales Manager, Sales VPs and Sales Analytics teams to effectively target and grow market areas where Benco's share is below industry average
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences through excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel to perform co-travels with service and sales team to understand needs and requirements of field associates
  • Establish regulatory, compliance, and safety policy for field service
  • Establish KPIs and service metrics; ensures regular reporting and trains regional service management accordingly
  • Demonstrates ability to work successfully in an agile environment within a matrix reporting organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Do YOU Meet These Requirements?



  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 4-6 years experience with Sales or Operations Management (Required)
