Overview:

Mitel is seeking a motivated and dynamic Channel Account Manager Intern. This role provides hands-on experience in channel sales, partner management, and business development. The intern will work closely with Mitel's Channel Sales team to support partner engagement, develop sales strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our channel programs.

This program is designed to provide valuable industry exposure, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities in a fast-paced technology sales environment.

In this remote position, you will work 30 hours per week and the pay is $18 - 20 per hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing relationships with Mitel's channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and service providers.

  • Support the execution of channel sales strategies to drive partner engagement and revenue growth.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new partners and growth opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Analyze sales data and partner performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop partner enablement materials, promotional campaigns, and sales resources.

  • Participate in partner training sessions, webinars, and sales meetings to gain hands-on experience in the channel ecosystem.

  • Provide administrative support for partner onboarding, contract management, and sales documentation.

  • Work closely with internal teams to enhance channel partner satisfaction and streamline processes.

  • Engage with customers and partners in a professional manner, representing Mitel's brand and values

  • Respond to partner inquiries, providing guidance on sales training tools, pricing, and deal registration

  • Help manage logistics for Lunch & Learns, including invitations, follow-ups, and post-event reporting.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

  • A current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Must have at least 1 semester left in school post-internship

  • 3.0+ GPA preferred but not required

  • Strong interest in technology, telecommunications, and channel sales.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).

  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management (internships, projects, or coursework) is a plus.
