Description Acara is looking for a looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Camden, New Jersey facility. In your role as a Maintenance Supervisor of Transportation, you will: Coordinate and Supervise work of Vehicle Technicians that inspect and repair railroad track structure for compliance with railroad policy and federal/state regulations Coordinate and Supervise work of Vehicle Technicians. Prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee work product. Recommends, develops and implements improvements to productivity, quality and efficiency within vehicle maintenance department. Responsible to manage budget through controlling labor and material expenditures. Promote safety rules and safe work habits among team 15%Performs miscellaneous tasks as directed You'll specifically take care of supervising a group of Maintenance Technicians during either our second shift (2 PM-10:30 PM) or third shift (10PM-6:30 AM), days of the week to be determined Pay Rate: 80k - 90k Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in related field. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: License/Certificate as Diesel Mechanic is preferred.
