Description

Under the oversight of the Manager or Director of Ambulatory Services, The Front Desk Supervisor acts as Team Leader and supervisor for the Migraine program in the 100 Med Plaza of the clinic administrative staff. You will manage and assign workflow within the team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, provide coaching to improve individual and group performance, and assist with management of the scheduling process and comprehensive care coordination process to optimize customer and patient satisfaction and physician support. You will also supervise full time staff and are responsible for acting as a liaison for the patients and physicians in the practice, assisting patients in accessing service within the health system, facilitating communication with referring physicians, referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager/Director you will provide leadership and support to the clinical staff in the Neurology clinic in 300 Med Plaza, as needed.

Salary Range: $76200 - $158800/Annually

Qualifications

Required:


  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with faculty, staff, administration, and patients from various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
  • Ability to creatively integrate competing demands into a productive working environment.
  • Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems in both formal and informal situations.
  • Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.


Preferred:


  • Knowledge of specific specialty practice and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of patient related policies and procedures as well as a thorough understanding of the University system and its services/programs.
  • Knowledge of hospital computer systems and the various software products to perform administrative work.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of the authorization process and managed care programs.
