The Director manages the repair and maintenance operations for over 900 store locations across the Eastern Seaboard and into Texas. The Director ensures that field service activities and vendor management are carried out efficiently and effectively by leading a team of project managers, maintenance coordinators, lead technicians, and field technicians. Responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, food service, plumbing, building, lot, and energy distribution systems. Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, maintenance coordinators, lead technicians, and field technicians. Supervise the maintenance, repair, and support of all company-operated locations, ensuring timely and high-quality service. Collaborate with the Director of Field Services to ensure effective communication, scheduling, and dispatch of service requests. Replace or integrate software applications to boost efficiency and technician productivity, enhance vendor performance, optimize asset management and collection, and utilize best technological integration and efficiency practices. Assist with procurement and maintain vendor relationships for outsourced services, parts, and supplies. Find ways to save costs and improve the allocation of resources. Build and nurture strong relationships with internal customers, utilizing their feedback to promote continuous improvement. Establish and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including performing regular safety audits. Effectively communicate with management from Facilities Maintenance, Real Estate, Construction, Retail Operations, IT, HR, and other departments to support their projects and initiatives. The role oversees repairs resulting from storage tank testing failures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee the team responsible for dispatching and tracking issues related to energy distribution monitoring software. Maintain an online connection to the automatic tank gauging systems for maintenance and compliance tracking. Serve as the acquisition integration lead, ensuring locations get appropriately integrated into our network. Develop reports to present cost savings, new position business cases, and processes to the executive team for maintenance initiatives. Qualifications
Ten (10) years of facility maintenance experience Experience in fueling systems and point of sale is a plus, but not required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Hard-working, self-motivated individuals Ability to multi-task and take ownership of assigned projects. Detail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team player Strong with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Smartsheet, Procore Excellent written and verbal communication skills Work productively under time constraints and exhibits a sense of urgency when necessary Excellent planning and organizational skills Understanding of the proper use of work orders, priorities, and schedules Valid Driver's License
