Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will assume multi-project responsibilities for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty piping system engineering and design for buildings, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.

• Prepare accurate HVAC, plumbing, and specialty piping system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration
• Prepare preliminary schematics and final designs, calculations, equipment selection and layout
• Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors
• Assist in maintaining project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality and continuity

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• 0 - 2 years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
• EIT certification, preferred
• Related design experience, preferred
• Familiarity with Revit, preferred
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously

Salary Range: $65k to $70k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
