POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Maintenance Technician helps the team troubleshoot, repair and replace any equipment. They play an important role in ensuring the premises remain clean, and they are responsible for assisting the supervisor for any key areas needing repairs.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Performs and completes preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Assists with maintenance/repairs to building facilities.
  • Diagnoses and repairs equipment.
  • Reads blueprints.
  • Builds production equipment.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:



      • This position operates primarily in the shop, working on heavy equipment and machinery. Jobsite work is likely to entail varying exposure to potentially harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, dangerous machinery, and/or other conditions typically associated with a live construction site.
      • Depending on the work location, the incumbent may be exposed to extreme temperatures, inclement weather, noise, poor ventilation/lighting, and other hazards or conditions typically associated with a construction job site.

      TRAVEL:



      • This position may be required to travel between jobs on a periodic basis as needed.


      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



      • Knowledge in, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Intro to Wiring or electrical certification, Intro to Maintenance Procedures.
      • Certified Maintenance Technician.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
      • Capacity to successfully execute job duties under limited supervision.
      • Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
      • Must have a valid driver's license.
      • Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.


      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



      • 1+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
      • Background in mechanical repairs.
      • Completed OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Training.
      • Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
      • Previous experience reading blueprints and schematics.
