Utz is seeking a Sales Analyst to join our team in Bentonville, AR. This role will provide analytical support and reporting across Walmart Inc., ensuring data integrity and offering insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams, providing recommendations to improve business strategies, automate processes, and enhance the accuracy of deliverables. A key responsibility will be tracking and managing omni-channel performance to ensure we are effectively reaching and engaging customers across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide category and consumer trend data using retail insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales on customer presentations, line reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Manage new item setup, item maintenance, and track new item introductions to support line reviews.
  • Develop actionable insights from research tools and historical data to drive sales growth.


Analytics



  • Utilize tools like Scintilla, Madrid, Retail Link, Circana, Profitero, and Stackline to provide category insights, ROI, and lift analysis.
  • Maintain and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor business health.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track and report omni-channel performance, optimizing alignment across online and brick-and-mortar platforms.


Sales Planning & Omni-Channel Performance Management



  • Align with the Walmart/Sam's Club team for accurate sales forecasts and track shipments to maintain inventory levels.
  • Conduct analysis on e-commerce and brick-and-mortar sales data, identifying trends and gaps.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing product placement, promotions, and pricing across sales channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Conduct market visits and retail audits to support business planning and account growth.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in CPG, Sales Analytics, Customer/Trade Marketing, or Category Management.
  • Experience with syndicated sales data tools such as Supplier Center, Scintilla (preferred), Madrid, and Circana.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
