The Brand and IP Approvals specialist entails learning and studying the Nintendo brand and IP principles. It involves reviewing various deliverables from internal teams and providing feedback on the use of the Nintendo brand and IP. You will work closely with other internal experts to be part of large-scale projects in which we can help provide direction that will ensure brand and IP approvals in the end.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Forecasts and recommends resources required.
  • Utilizes problem-solving methodology to identify root causes and develop appropriate solutions for
    improving and standardizing end-to-end process effectiveness.
  • Facilitates department fact finding and research projects to reinforce continuous improvement strategies
    and standardization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of IP and/or Brand Management
  • May require a high level of visibility and interaction with middle and upper level management.
  • Provides assessments of team and project performance and reports back to stakeholders and project
    sponsor/owner.
  • Experience within graphic design or related design fields preferred.
  • Understands design principals.
  • is willing to learn and understand the Nintendo way of working and managing our characters.
  • Effective communication with internal teams as well as agencies and other brands that we work with.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Utilizes problem-solving methodology to identify root causes and develop appropriate solutions for improving and standardizing end-to-end process effectiveness.
  • May require a high level of visibility and interaction with middle and upper level management.
  • Provides assessments of team and project performance and reports back to stakeholders and project sponsor/owner.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience leading projects.
  • Understanding of project management methodology, including ability to identify and resolve issues, create and track milestones and manage risk.
  • Demonstrated success in innovation and driving business initiatives with measurable results in a cross functional team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio and Project applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management/Business or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
