MARKETING SPECIALIST

As a Marketing Specialist at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE), you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of trade and marketing programs for both customers and consumers of the Oregon Brands of SMWE which consist of A to Z Wineworks, Erath, and REX HILL. This position plays a key role in supporting the national sales team, key marketing deliverables, and conversion-focused marketing tactics. The Marketing Specialist will tailor communication and materials to a wide variety of audiences with consistency, accuracy, and efficiency. We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to move projects forward. An ability to manage structured workflow while remaining highly flexible is also key.

Job Responsibilities



  • Manage end-to-end brand trade campaigns including development, execution, evaluation, recommendations, and improvements. Examples include managing consumer promotions and POS, coordinating sponsorships, partnerships, and events, trade asset management, and national and regional brand activations.
  • Situationally and efficiently, create and build marketing presentations and sales collateral, while leveraging brand standards, differentiation, and USP's to drive expected results.
  • Develop educational materials including tasting sheets and education modules.
  • Skillfully collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners, including winemaking, production, purchasing, customer marketing, digital marketing, and graphic design.


Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration preferred; equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 3+ years consumer packaged goods or retail trade marketing experience desired.
  • Wine, beer, or spirits industry experience a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs, advanced Excel knowledge, and wizard-level PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with retail scan data such as Nielsen or Circana.
  • Must be able to both be it at a computer for an extended period, and be able to lift, move and carry up to 45 lbs.


Your Compensation:

$56k - $65k per year
