The candidate for this position will be responsible for performing Proof-of-Concept (POC) tests in their designated technology area(s). The position is a pre-sales, customer-facing role which requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present the advantages of Juniper technical capabilities in a manner that influences current and prospective customers to invest in Juniper solutions. A successful proof-of-concept engagement establishes customer preference for Juniper technology and drives revenue growth. Summary: The POC Engineer must be a motivated engineer wanting to work at the cutting edge of networking technologies, enjoy hands-on testing, and customer interaction. The Engineer must be capable of configuring complex functions on applicable Juniper and supporting platforms, have thorough knowledge of at least two test equipment vendors' products, and be able to translate solution architectures and customer test plans into functional environments meeting specified requirements. Advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of test plan development are required. Other tasks involve customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and technical documentation. Minimum Salary: $121,088.00 Maximum Salary:$174,064.00 The pay range for this position is expected to be between $121,088.00 and $174,064.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements. |
